Supplying Artwork

To help us print your postcards to the highest standard, please read this guide to supplying your artwork.

Original Photographs

We accept good quality photographs, one scan is included as part of the price. If you intend to supply negatives, please contact us first.

If your image is extremely colour critical we advise you have it drum scanned for an additional cost of £35. If you choose not to we cannot accept responsibility for colour accuracy.

Digital Files

All files should be supplied at the correct size, as high resolution (300dpi) format, with 3mm bleed on all sides.

We accept the following file formats:

  • Adobe Photoshop 1
  • Adobe Illustrator 2
  • Adobe InDesign 3
  • EPS
  • TIF
  • High Quality JPEG
  • High Resolution PDF
  • QuarkXPress 3

If you cannot supply in any of the above please contact us before sending your artwork - while we cannot print directly from other formats (such as Microsoft Word) we may be able to convert or recreate your files to an appropriate format.

Supplying Digital Files

If possible, we prefer files supplied on CD. Emailed files are acceptable but a maximum of 5MB per email is permitted.

1 If you supply as Photoshop, please ensure that text layers are rasterized.
2 If you supply as Illustrator, please convert all text to outlines.
3 If you supply as InDesign or QuarkXPress, please ensure that all supporting files are included (images and fonts).
